“Give-Away Monday” is back!
So this week we have a new item that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! These adorable necklaces are made using reclaimed Scrabble Tiles and Dominos, each pendant is carefully handcrafted using sterling silver findings and a genuine Swarovski crystal embellishment for that extra bit of sparkle! These fabulous charms are made in the USA (southeastern Pennsylvania)! The makers of Bitty Blocks have been generous and have offered a free necklace for our Give-Away Monday! The sample tiles above are the ones the winner will get to choose from. I think this is the perfect gift idea for the Big Sister when the new baby arrives...something special just for her!
So here’s the deal – everyone is trying to do their part and recycle. Tell me what you do to recycle in your home and a winner will be chosen from those who leave a comment below!
This contest will end on Sunday, October 25th and a winner will be posted on Monday, the 26th. The winner will have 2 weeks to contact me to claim their prize. If I do not hear from you within 2 weeks another winner will be chosen. Good luck!

I recycle all of the plastic in our home that I can, and I also re-use many containers. The baby food containers that Joey's food comes in makes great containers for "little things". I also recycle pop cans and bottles.
GReat idea to do a give away Monday! I love these ;)
Every 6 months, Sadie (my four-year old daughter) and I go through all of her toys. She picks out the ones that she doesn't play with anymore that are in good condition. Then, we go to a local children's charity to donate her gently used toys. We also go through our wardrobes twice a year and donate the gently used items to local charities as well. Sadie says she feels great about giving other children toys to play with and clothes to help them stay warm.
We do the usual recycling of plastic and plastic bags, etc. We also recycle paper, with a Kindergartener and a 3 year old we use a lot of paper for writing and drawing. You'd be surprised how much paper you go through so junk mail, letters and paper with text on only one side are very useful for children to draw and write on.
We recycle the ususal paper and plastics. i reuse the paper bags for our lovely kitten droppings. we also donate our old clothing about twice a year to charity. also i am an interior designer so all the old samples (carpet, fabrics, tiles) i reuse in either things for my home or are donated to local schools.
I now live in the United States and recycle most of my plastics, but I will tell you that when I lived in Sweden, I rarely used the trash can... They have recycling bins for everything. I used a whole closet for recycling and took it to the recycling more than I used the trash. I wish they would of given me a prize there for that, it could of been a full time job there... whew!
Those are adorable!
I recycle all of our cans, paper, packaging and boxboard. I keep cereal bags and reusable containers, and refill water bottles.
i recycle my glass and plastic bottles and donate extra clothes to charity.
I reuse plastic grocery bags over and over....love those handles. I also teach elementary school so there is not much need to throw anything away....someone at school can always use whatever it is.
We recycle the plastics and paper, find other uses for things that you might normally throw away, give our old toys and clothes away to charities and all the cans my sons food comes in. Great give away.
So cute! Would be perfect for my daughter who will be a big sister in February!!We recycle by reusing everything, plastics, containers, grocery bags, etc. Thanks for the opportunity to win that adorable pendant!!
Cute idea! We recycle more than I can list here in my house! We have mandatory recycling where I live but I like helping the environment too :)
